1. MOSCHINO SAYS ‘FANCY A FAG?’

Way ahead of the see-now-buy-now curve, Moschino has a knack of knowing which elements of its buzzworthy collections to release first. Landing today, its #Itslit AW16 capsule collection of cigarette-themed pieces hits the shop floor just four days after first being seen on the runway. When you do the rounds of press days in April and October, you get a very clear sense of the trends that are going to push through for the season. The designers have done their bit, the stores have bought the commercial sellers, and then the PRs do their own edit to show the press. 1. LYST GOES GLOBAL

Lyst has just raised £40 million in funding from some of the biggest fash-and-tech investors. The aggregated shopping site now has a universal shopping cart that lets you shop from multiple etailers really easily, and the new funding will allow it to expand its services globally. (more…)
