I’m not really one for conceptual art; I much prefer pretty pictures. I make an exception for Sophie Calle though. Her art is about communication, rituals and relationships and she is (intentionally or not) funny as hell. (more…)
I’m not much of a cook but boy do I love a cook book. This tribute to Georgia O’Keeffe by Robyn Lea (Assouline, £32) is both a feast for the eyes and the taste buds with rustic recipes and equally delicious images.
Not far from the show venue, in the Regent street flagship store, a similar scenario was underway. DRG’s retail editor Alison Bishop WhatsApp-ed me with a video clip of VIP clients shopping up a storm, swarming around the bags and trench coats. (more…)

BURBERRY X HARRODS TAKEOVER
It’s been yonks since Harrods did one of its superbrand takeovers. Interesting to see that Burberry is booked in for the next one, a Christmas affair that’s said to be a push by Burberry to cultivate the local consumer. (more…)
