Craft is trending for SS17 (or is it AW16?) and I don’t just mean complex embroideries and hand tooled leathers. Although, yes, those too. More that designers are celebrating all manner of craft and makers, in particular two of LFW’s most important designers,Christopher Bailey at Burberry and J.W.Anderson’s Jonathan Anderson. (more…)

The area around Dover Street Market has had a spruce-up recently, with the new St James’s Market slowly coming to life. If you’re approaching DSM from Jermyn Street, it’s the road that continues along leading to Haymarket. This new block is soon to house retail and restaurant premises, inclusing a Jigsaw and a Smeg. I won’t lie, I wasn’t expecting to be wowed by Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder. The limited edition beauty collection (which lands in stores today) has had loads of press and the ad campaigns have appeared in magazines already. Not to mention VB’s appearance on the cover of Vogue in which her make-up is incredible. (more…)
