1. AMI LAUNCHES WOMENSWEAR

Having shown women wearing its menswear collection on its runways for successive seasons, Ami has official launched womenswear. Apparently, it noticed that 35-40% of sales were made to women and decided to act. Good call! I’ve always liked the typically Parisian smart-casual menswear from Ami, especially the knits and leather jackets. (more…)

Big news of the week: Kim Jones is leaving his post as Louis Vuitton artistic director of menswear. I’ve loved his collections at LV – so many things I would happily wear. The brilliant Sam McCoach has branched into denim with her latest offering from Le Kilt. The keep-forever denim pieces are manufactured in the UK from raw, rigid denim by Blackhorse Lane Ateliers.
