I’m keeping my eye on Trademark this year, a brand I only discovered a few weeks ago at their London press day. Shapes are simple, and a tiny bit preppie (well, there are sweatshirts) but it’s the overall presentation as ‘a brand’ that I like – focussed, clean and graphic. (more…)

Ask Alison: Shopstyle and American Express collaborate for ‘Style Inspiration Hub’

Shopstyle Inspiration Hub

Here’s the latest ‘Ask Alison’ guest post from retail expert and DRG contributor, ALISON BISHOP, on the new editorial ‘hub’ from ShopStyle.

What next for Valextra? It’s a shame Design Director Alvaro Gonzalez has left the building, I thought things were going so well. It’s still one of my favourite artisanal luxury brands though – any guesses who’s in next? (more…)
