Pott Lac candles and ceramic holder

Two recent discoveries on my radar for Mother’s Day* – or any other gifting occasion…

POTT CANDLES. Pott (above) is a candle subscription service offering handmade ceramic pots with refillable hand-poured scented candles. The pots start at £30 (for the Petite size) and the subscription refills start at £10 a month (for the Petite).

If your giftee isn’t into subscription services (but who wouldn’t love this?!), Pott also sells individual candle pots. (more…)

The culture of fashion: Retail-edutainment rules at Dior’s renovated Avenue Montaigne flagship

Dries Van Noten beauty is here

Since Dries Van Noten joined Puig in 2018 I’ve been waiting for the introduction of beauty. (more…)

The power punch here is the combo of serious overcoats with sheer panelled evening skirts, something everyone can take ideas from styling-wise and the high street is going to go mad over. I also loved those boxy blazers (I’m on the hunt for a new blazer) and the double bags. Pure influencer-bait, although not too practical. Unless, unless they are literally two bags in one that can be detached and used individually, in which case – too effing genius… (more…)
