It’s the season for… half-sleeve sweaters!
I call this in-between season ‘springshine’ – you get a bit of sunshine but there’s still a crisp ‘freshness’ in the air. So while I’m tempted to pull out my short-sleeve knits, I inevitably end up layering a cardigan on top. (Or at least over the shoulders Hooray-style.)

Following on from my SS22 trends post, this just dropped into my inbox. Sara Lanzi’s SS22 collection includes this striped taffeta drop-waist dress which lends itself very nicely to the trend for hard-meets-soft styling. What’s new in fashion? Nothing much! What’s being reprised, updated, revamped, remixed? Loads. This spring it’s mostly about rehashing the 90s and 00s and what’s kind of scary is that ‘the 90s’ is now officially retro in the way the 50s was for me.
