Love the Elayna trainer from ethical artisanal startup, Nisolo. Lean Luxe brought the brand to my attention by praising it for its non ‘Etsy factor’ branding and operation. What the hell does that mean? It referred to the often twee, not-quite-there brands that have good intentions but don’t quite cut it on execution and delivery. (more…)

1. WHAT TO BUY FROM UNIQLO X J.W.ANDERSON

Uniqlo J.W. Anderson LifeWear
Uniqlo unveiled its J.W. Anderson LifeWear collaboration last week, which will launch with 33 pieces in September in the U.K. My guess is that the menswear will sell better than the women’s and those ruffle skirts will get left on the rail. I love the tartan Ultra Light Down Jacket as a vivid insulation piece to wear under another layer. (more…)
