Satin bomber jackets are set to be the big commercial hit for next Spring if you take your cues from the Paris menswear runways. Every year Mr DRG and I talk about going to St Ives and I’ve still never been. Oh well, this summer St Ives (kind of) comes to us with Tate Britain’s new exhibition, Barbara Hepworth: Sculpture for a Modern World. Power portholes at Craig Green



Craig Green Menswear Spring Summer 2016 in London

I’m sitting out LC:M this season but I enjoyed watching the Craig Green SS16 show via Caroline Issa’s Periscope – it felt a bit like I was sitting on her lap!

Like many ‘menswear’ designers, Green showed female models on his runway and certainly lots of the pieces looked interchangeable. One Periscope commenter called it ‘martial arts chic’, and there was a sense of that in the wrapped jackets and judo pants. (more…)
