Power portholes at Craig Green

Craig Green Menswear Spring Summer 2016 in London

I’m sitting out LC:M this season but I enjoyed watching the Craig Green SS16 show via Caroline Issa’s Periscope – it felt a bit like I was sitting on her lap!

Like many ‘menswear’ designers, Green showed female models on his runway and certainly lots of the pieces looked interchangeable. One Periscope commenter called it ‘martial arts chic’, and there was a sense of that in the wrapped jackets and judo pants. (more…)

Perfect pairing: RE/DONE jeans + modified Margiela

Re/Done jeans Martin Margiela jumper

My best ever denim discovery was the in-house hem shortening service at the Levi’s flagship store. My second best could well be RE/DONE, the L.A denim brand that does the modifying for you.
