Jo Malone London ups its luxury game with Rare Teas

Jo Malone London has been a tad hit and miss for me in the last year, but things have picked up with its latest release, Rare Teas.

I’m currently doused in Darjeeling Tea, one of the new limited edition Rare Teas colognes, which retail at a premium £ 240 for 175ml. The essence of this collection is taking six revered rare teas from exotic locales including Morocco and Japan and infusing them straight from the leaf into a fragrance. It’s a ritualistic process and actually unheard of in fragrance until now. Each tea is blended with other ingredients to create a completely new but tea-centric concoction. (more…)

Tiffany partners Net-a-Porter on e-commerce

Net-a-Porter is becoming the go-to site for fine jewellery brands who want to jump in the e-commerce pool or expand their digital reach. An ideal hand-holding partner, it covers all the bases from having a rock solid back end, inspirational editorial, a global reach and a great relationship with influencers.

Yesterday, Tiffany & Co announced a collaboration with Net-a-Porter slated for 27th April* which will centre around selling the popular T By Tiffany line (more…)

Old money, old Vuitton

Sometimes I miss classic, old school, old money Louis Vuitton – no bells, no cyber whistles. It takes me back to my old au pairs with their tan-strapped cross body monogrammed bags, belted camel coats and stack heeled boots. (And denim flares, it was the late 70s.) Oh yes, I had very chic au pairs….
