1.ALLSAINTS IS ALL GROWN UP

I’ve been tracking AllSaints’ gradual transformation for a while now and wow, the metamorphosis is complete! Its latest Instagram campaign, #HappyMondays is really very cool, a celebration of its ‘Iconic’ leather jacket worn by up and coming models and tastemakers who lend their own personality and style cred to the pictures. What to steal from the menswear shows: Gucci AW15

Gucci AW15 menswear

Big boys blouses, double breasted coats, swishy scarves and fur-lined slippers. Yes please to all of the above and well done Alessandro Michele for giving Gucci a cooler (if slightly Saint Laurent-ified) feel. Apparently he and his team worked around the clock to completely redesign the SS15 collection, after Frida Giannini’s swifter-than-expected exit from Gucci… (more…)

Gentlewoman style: Handsome red

Spring pastels and summer neons may come and go but rich, handsome red never gets old. For starters, I love simple red sweaters, both for wearing and for tying round waists or shoulders.

Next, red leather accessories have a lovely nostalgic feel – Anya Hindmarch in particular has nailed it with her delicious two-way journal (which can be embossed with initials to personalise). (more…)
