I’m apologising in advance for the deluge of bronzers and tinted moisturisers you’re about to be hit with. Starting with Crème de la Mer’s Reparative SkinTint with SPF 30. First the bad news: it’s £65 for 40ml. But the good news is it has a tiny nozzle that squirts out the product in miniscule amounts, so there’s zero wastage. I’ve become quite the lip balm connoisseur in the last year, progressing from Burt’s Bees and Blistex (effective and affordable) to the upper echelons of lip moisturisation, courtesy of Chanel Hydra Beauty Nutrition and Creme De La Mer The Lip Balm. In all honesty, the cheap stuff is great and definitely does the job. But I can’t resist the lure of something as utilitarian as lip balm taken to the heights of poshness. (more…)

, the holy grail of skincare – a load of snake oil or worth the hype? Because there is a lot of hype around this brand. I’ve tried (and been converted to) The Lip Balm (£42) and The Intensive Revitalizing Mask (£105), both of which deliver excellent results. But the legendary crème had until recently evaded me… well, hello, it’s £105 for the smallest pot! (more…)
