Asteroid City Wes Anderson

Everyone’s talking about Barbie, the movie, but I’m probably going to give that a miss. Instead, I’m looking forward to Wes Anderson’s latest kookfest, Asteroid City (above), with its usual stellar cast line-up, and BlackBerry, a satirical biopic of the tech company to satisfy my chronic nostalgia-itis. Things to see and do: May 2015

1. PHOTO LONDON 21ST-24TH MAY

Better Days - copyright Bill Bernstein

Big news for photography buffs and collectors; Somerset House is hosting London’s first international photography fair, Photo London. Own the Moonrise Kingdom scout suit and raise money for charity

If you’ve seen Moonrise Kingdom, you’ll know one of the best things about it is the fantastic costume design by Kasia Walicka Maimone. As a fan of scout style, I just adored the details of the scout outfits, from the scarves to the patches on the shirts, to Sam’s omnipresent brooch and raccoon tail. Anyway, Sam’s outfit is up for grabs in an online auction taking place between now and June 13th. All proceeds go to Variety New York, to help transform the lives of children through the arts.
