If you’re in London for Frieze and need some zen time out from the frantic pace, here’s my tip. Go and chill at the Barbican.

The Noguchi show just opened two weeks ago at Barbican Centre and it’s a perfect stroll through the artist and designer’s timeline.

Isamu Noguchi was a sculptor and multidisciplinary designer, creating everything from theatre sets to kids’ playgrounds to furniture and of course, the now-classic Akari lighting. (more…)



The beauty object: Estee Lauder Disney Collection

I just wrote my first piece for Stylist, discussing the allure of aesthetically pleasing beauty and personal care objects that appeal to all our senses. One thing I wasn’t able to mention there was the new Estee Lauder X Disney Collection collaboration that launches on Monday.

On my wish list: Celine boots



Summer’s all but fizzled out here, so I’ve turned my attention to winter boots.

Celine has the perfect Western boot around, with a medium heel, not-too-pointy toe and steel toe cap. I love the styling with the vintage 501-style jeans, boxy blazer and bourgeois bag. I have versions of all three components already which I think is the secret sauce to Hedi’s success – making it look like your own wardrobe (but elevated). (more…)

Eyes are peeled for this Studio Nicholson X Sunspel* collaboration from the unimpeachable Nick Wakeman.

Known for her ‘modular’ approach to fashion and frankly obsessive yen for superior fabrications, these cotton jersey and loop back fleeces are perfect for those who maybe got a bit too comfy during you-know-what and need help transitioning back into polite society without leaving their comfort zone.
