As a certified celebrity-avoider, I rarely pay attention to celeb collaborations. The Alexa Chung for AG Jeans collection is the exception. There’s a lot to like in these simple denim pieces and you can actually believe that Alexa had something to do with them (although I wish she’d gone easy on the faux faded bits). (more…)

Oh to be a fly on the wall of the new Burberry ss15 campaign featuring Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn. I love the colourful energy of this campaign and – note to Santa – as a key focus of the collection, the trench coats are being made available to buy from today at Burberry.com (with the rest of the collection on sale globally from January 5th). So here’s something I never knew: Karl Lagerfeld was once a boxer! Hence his monogrammed Louis Vuitton boxing gloves and punchbag as his contribution to the latest Louis Vuitton collaboration, Celebrating Monogram. It’s a pretty great project, not just because of the breadth of talent that was called upon to take part (Cindy Sherman! Rei Kawakubo! Frank Gehry!), but for the end results as well. (more…)
