It’s been such a weird week this week. We’re still in post-election chaos and then the news of the West London tower block fire has shocked and horrified us all. I’ve lived in West London all my life so this is very close to home. But there were a few chinks of good news. I’ve cut down a lot on the monthly mags I used to buy but the Vogues are still a constant. This issue has the sweetest student style shoot photographed (please can we stop saying ‘lensed’) by Venetia Scott and styled by Bay Garnett. It was shot at the Complutense University of Madrid and is heavy on the Smedley polo necks, Rochas bootees and Vuitton minis, all with a subtle 70s flavour. Club Monaco SS13 campaign by Venetia Scott



Another gorgeous SS13 ad campaign, this time from Club Monaco, shot by Venetia Scott. Nothing ground breaking here, just a set of Scott’s trademark ‘about a girl’ studies set in New York locations. Quietly beautiful with a very slight whiff of Marc by Marc Jacobs about it (maybe in the casting?). I love how Venetia frames the model low down in the photo with lots of space above… (more…)
