Just when you thought influencer-commerce had had its day, something new comes along.
H&M’s newest ‘streetwear’ brand, /Nyden had a soft launch (on social media anyway) back in February, with email teasers sent out to early adopters talking about ‘tribe building’ and rewards for your community. Now we see why. With seasonless drop-culture at the heart of the influencer-slash-celebrity themed collection, H&M is pitching /Nyden as a community brand. How hard can it be to find a simple, tailored triangle bra? One that’s not too sporty or clingy and has adjustable straps? My usual go-to for A-cup bras is American Apparel; their casual triangle bras have served me for years and I love a sporty stripe. But sometimes you want something more grown up, especially if it might be a bit visible under a dressy blouse or top.
My PR friend introduced me to Rossell bras a while ago and I immediately liked the sound of them. Made in Portugal in silk and cotton, with supportive boned seams and elegant old fashioned S-fastenings, they’re so simple yet gently engineered. (more…)

I’m currently trying to have a mammoth declutter. I’ve been in my house for eleven years and amassed a ton of stuff that I don’t really need or use. Admittedly, part of the appeal of going back to zero is the temptation to start acquiring things again. But useful things. Timeless things. Things like the kind of wares sold at Lennox & Harvey, a ‘contemporary general store’ just opened in Martha’s Vineyard.
