THE DRG STYLE INDEX: LOUIS VUITTON, YAHOO, LUCKY, MARC JACOBS

Here’s the latest weekly DRG STYLE INDEX ranking, a round-up of the brands currently buzzing on my radar…

1. DOVER STREET MARKET LONDON HOSTS ITS FIRST ‘EPHEMERAL’ VUITTON STORE

LOUIS VUTTION-Dover-Street-Market-London

Louis Vuitton has just opened its first London ephemeral store (don’t call it a pop-up)  at Dover Street Market. Stocked with the best bits from Nicolas Ghesquiere’s debut Vuitton collection, this is the first chance to snatch up those covetable (and probably collectible) runway pieces. (more…)

One more sleep til the Christian Louboutin Beaute? pop-up at Selfridges. As pop-ups go, I predict this is gonna be a biggie. The pop-up will be in the main beauty hall, in front of Shu Uemura (that’s next to MAC, and on the right hand side of the Information desk). Basically, just follow the hordes of red-soled fanatics. Sunspel‘s basics are another easy inclusion, you can’t get more classic than its loopback sweats in old-school navy. Sachajuan is a Swedish haircare line and I will confess it’s the packaging that’s speaking to me here. And for an understated sneaker that’s a step up from a Stan Smith, there’s no arguing with the grey suede Original Achilles from Common Projects
