Buy it now: Faye Toogood for 1882 Ltd

I clocked these painterly bowls at Selfridges and now I can’t stop thinking about them. They’re an abstract take on traditional creamware by Faye Toogood, one of my favourite polymaths.

Created for for 1882 Ltd, they’re fairly affordable (from about £15) and there’s plenty of choice in the range. Buy them here and here.

Net-a-Porter new season now

This is that funny time of year when it’s blazing hot but the mags are full of new season ad campaigns. And coats. Porter mag is tempting me with come-hither boots and poet’s blouses and Net-a-Porter is bursting its proverbial seams with cashmere overload.

So there’s not one, but seven beautiful bottles of Louis Vuitton fragrance about to be released next month. Sold exclusively at Louis Vuitton stores, the perfumes will be sold in 100ml and 200ml sized (from £180) in refillable bottles designed by Marc Newson. (more…)
