Like it or not, autumn has almost arrived and the only good thing about that is the prospect of Fashion Week-ready newness. So let’s be postitive. I was in Selfridges yesterday and headed straight to Miu Miu which is the best it’s ever been this season. I can definitely get down with all its pleated, kilty skirt shapes, from this OTT green python number to the more sedate, wool boucle tweed skirt – accompanied by Isabel Marant’s sensible red cable knit.
To be honest, I had never heard of glove shoes until I read this story on Fashionista. But apparently they’re a thing. Going by the comments on Fashionista, they’re extremely polarising, which suggests to me that they’re just going to get bigger (Uggs, anyone?).
It’s only taken me a couple of decades to realise there’s a difference between cleansers and makeup removers. I like my makeup removers thick and unguent, you can take your time massaging in and really enjoy the massaging process. (more…)
