Astley Clarke has found a gem in its new creative director Dominic Jones. His story is an interesting one. He got off to a bright beginning with his anti-establishment jewellery designs and it-crowd inner circle (think early 2010s Alice Dellal, Daisy Lowe and co), then ten collections in, he shut up shop. The Shop at Bluebird (retail porn for aesthetes) and the Fashion Illustration Gallery are going large on last year’s Fashion Illustration Gallery Art Fair (FIGAF), extending it over 3 days at the King’s Road emporium.
