This Wednesday, I’m hosting a jolly get-together at Grenson’s lovely Soho store in London. It’s all an excuse to step away from the social media screen and meet IRL, just like our old blogger meet-ups back in the day. As much as I love making connections online, it’s good to meet face to face, and I particularly want to get to know some of the people I’ve been talking to on social media for the past couple of years. I always look forward to the Burberry LFW show but September’s show is going to be even better than usual. Christopher Bailey has curated a Burberry photography exhibition called Here We Are, celebrating some of our British photography greats. On display to the public from 18 September – 1 October it’s co-curated by Lucy Kumara Moore, director of Claire de Rouen Books and gives a hint to the theme of the autumn collection. (more…)

If you happen to be visiting the Festival d’Avignon this summer (lucky you!), be sure to stop by Collection Lambert. A new exhibition, On aime l’art is showing fashion designer Agnès b’s spectacular contemporary art collection, which includes this painting by Jean-Michel Basquiat, who she befriended shortly before he died. (Sotheby’s recently sold Basquiat’s 1982 painting, Untitled, for $110,500,000, the highest price to date for any American artist at auction.) (more…)
