THE DRG STYLE INDEX: Céline, M.I.H Jeans, Brooks Brothers, Estée Lauder

Here’s the latest weekly DRG STYLE INDEX ranking, a round-up of the brands currently buzzing on my radar…

1. M.I.H JEANS LAUNCHES A POP-UP SHOP

Happy Birthday M.i.h Jeans! Chloe Lonsdale is celebrating 10 years of M.i.h Jeans with a pop-up shop and mini-collection called The Cult Denim Project. Selling ten favourite M.i.h pieces, it includes the chambray boiler suit, which is also one of my favourite M.i.h looks. I love the accompanying Colin Dodgson shoot too… Find The Cult Denim Project at 7 Upper James Street, London, W1F 9DH (until 23rd May, closed Sundays), mih-jeans.com and Net-a-Porter.com.

2. THE BROOKS BROTHERS BUTTON DOWN

Loved this tale about the reinvention of a Brooks Brothers shirt. If you’re fussy about shirts and millimetric details then this one’s for you…

3. THE ESTÉE EDIT MAKE-UP ARRIVES IN LONDON

Estee Edit make-up ranfe featuring Irene Kim and Kendall Jenner as guest editors
This month sees a big launch from Estée Lauder, bringing its younger ‘The Estée Edit’ make-up line to the UK. Created with Sephora, who initially gave input into What Millennials Want, Kendall Jenner and Irene Kim are also on board as ‘guest editors’. While we may not have Sephora, we do have Selfridges and they’re giving us the first look at The Estée Edit with the collection launching there on 26th May. For now though, you can get a sneaky first purchase – the eye shadow palette is available already to buy here.

4. THE PHOEBE PHILO AT CÉLINE LEGACY

Is Phoebe Philo leaving Celine?
While we’re still not sure if Phoebe Philo is or isn’t leaving Céline, it’s got us all thinking about her legacy. Looking back at her first ever Céline collection (for Resort 09, above), I can’t help thinking it looks as timeless as ever. And certainly set the tone for this decade’s overriding boxy, anti-fit silhouette…
