Heads-up: There’s only three days left to visit Karen Walker’s Candy Bar at Browns Focus before it packs up and jets off on the next leg of its world tour.

If you love Walker’s cult chunky framed sunnies, you can find exclusive colourways here until Thursday 14th August. (I’ve just taken delivery of the above new wave-esque eye candy – thank you Team KW!) (more…)

First look at Ryan McGinley and Chloe Sevigny’s videos for Uniqlo (and some of the 330 knitwear colour options)

(I’m hoping the high street won’t kill this too soon with their bad replicas.) (more…)

Heads up: Tony Viramontes

His dynamic brush strokes and androgynous subjects are just as impactful now as they were in the eighties. Good to hear there’s a monograph coming out in October courtesy of Laurence King to celebrate the illustrator who died in 1988 at the age of 33.

A month before sees a 1stDibs.com sale of original Viramontes artwork and Polaroids, which until now have resided in the Viramontes family lockup in L.A. Mark your diaries for September 4th to snap up a gem or two…
