This year is the 30th anniversary of A.P.C and if there’s a more timeless ‘fashion’ brand around, I’d like to see it. I’ve been wearing the coats, jeans, shirts and boots the whole time, I think the only things I haven’t bought are dresses and skirts. Not long now til the second collection of Uniqlo U by artistic director Christophe Lemaire and team lands UK-side (It’s already out in the U.S). This is part of the LifeWear range that Uniqlo produces, which marries functionality with style and advanced high quality fabrics. (more…)
There was a louche scruffiness to Margaret Howell for AW17 that I really liked. Trousers were boy-cut or cuffed with a button and worn a bit too short with retro normcore trainers. Shirts were half in, half out, but that’s as far as the scruffiness went. I mean, this is Margaret Howell, so they were still starched and properly pressed. (more…)
