Yes, I’m still wearing tights under my jeans. Yes I’m still bundled under a suuuuuper-sized cashmere stole (thanks Johnstons of Elgin). Yes, my fingers are still encased in The North Face extreme weather gloves. But! Blossom has been spotted on the trees of West London and it’s still daylight at 5.30pm. So that surely necessitates an evaluation of the new-in spring offerings, no?
If Chanel’s spring colour palette doesn’t put a cherry blossom carpeted spring in your step, well, I don’t know what will. The timing always coincides with that point in the season when you just can’t take much more darkness and gloom. As it happens, for spring 2016 the colour saturation seems to be dialled up just that extra little bit.

These video vignettes take their cues from morning routines, musings and motivations. You know, those first waking moments when you may be ruminating on your ambitions – hello Monday #lifegoals! – or if you’re anything like me, wishing you could slow your pace right down as you silence the snooze button for the 12th time…
