Gap’s Styld.By site has evolved since the last time I wrote about it and even better, this time I’m on it! The site’s premise is non-models wearing Gap their way, styling it with their own clothes to showcases their signature style. I was asked to take part in the Back To Blue denim campaign, choosing a few Gap denim pieces and styling them in my lazy casual, tomboy way. The first installment is below and here. I’m wearing Gap’s indigo ‘sexy boyfriend’ jeans (I went up a size to make them extra loose) with my own ancient Helmut Lang sweatshirt, Agnes B tee, battered Church’s shoes and a Prada manbag. Camera phones – the unsung heroes of London Fashion Week

So what did the smartphone companies do for London Fashion Week? Apple introduced its new iPhone 5s by working with Burberry Prorsum on social media coverage using its iSight camera.

Yep, that’s me being tweeted from backstage at Burberry – no biggie.

Meanwhile, Samsung sponsored the BFC press lounge and worked with Nicholas Kirkwood on an exclusive case for the Galaxy Note 3. (more…)



H&M magazine: autumn 2013

The new autumn issues are out and not only are we gifted doorstop sized Vogues, but also the free zines from the high street. I have a four-page story in H&M magazine on the silhouette that I believe will define this decade. That is, the new body conscious silhouette that’s the opposite of clingy WAG frocks and all about confident anti-fit shapes…
