BrandAlley launches Pin To Win Facebook app




What with all the Pinning, Tumbling, Fancying and Discoveredd-ing, I’m fast getting inspirationed out*. Enough with the inspiration – I don’t need anymore! But I guess I’m an extreme case – most people don’t spend their lives scrolling through websites 1000 hours a day.

Own the Moonrise Kingdom scout suit and raise money for charity




If you’ve seen Moonrise Kingdom, you’ll know one of the best things about it is the fantastic costume design by Kasia Walicka Maimone. As a fan of scout style, I just adored the details of the scout outfits, from the scarves to the patches on the shirts, to Sam’s omnipresent brooch and raccoon tail. Anyway, Sam’s outfit is up for grabs in an online auction taking place between now and June 13th. All proceeds go to Variety New York, to help transform the lives of children through the arts. Street style old and new: Coggles and The Skartorialist



At the Coggles press day I discovered the brand has a two year old archive of on-the-street portraits taken by Nick Scaife. These images are very much about the person as much as their clothes, and Coggles has gone on to develop this idea by making short films about a few of its favourite subjects. (more…)
