AW11 press day highlights part 7

Weeks have passed since press days began (they’re just finishing now…) but I’m still resizing and uploading photos. Here’s a few of my faves…

Demo of the new Chanel Confidential site with Lisa Eldridge

Natalie Rich-Fernandez for Laurence Dacade

Day one of my Browns/Club Monaco styling extravaganza ended with me sneaking off next door to the Laurence Dacade press preview. On show were these show-stopping shoes, a special project of twelve* one-off, handpainted shoes by artist-photographer Natalie Rich-Fernandez (left) in collaboration with Dacade. (more…)

IOMIO’s monogrammed tote

My love for a classic tote is well documented, as is my penchant for a bit of monogramming. US site IOMIO has married the two with its perfectly-proportioned navy leather tote. Check it out on US Elle’s managing editor, Kat Thomsen…

What Moleskine did next

Moleskine is for the Paperchase addict who grew up but never stopped loving stationery. Along with the library-leisure trend, the current stationery obsession is another parallel to the digital revolution. Technology freaks like paper too! Moleskine has been slowly building its empire with expensive beautiful, no-frills products. Here are some of my favourites:

Clip-on pens and pencils
Moleskine Pencils, Roller Pens, Slip-on grips

Bigger A4 hardback notebooks and sketchbooks

iPad cases. These are great as you can position your notepad on the left or right, depending on whether you’re left or right-handed. I spotted one first in a meeting with the unstoppable Chris Morton from Lyst and have been looking out for them ever since (only compatible with first generation iPads though).
