Make it Last, is a Swedish site that focuses on sustainable style of the non-crunchy kind. Everything is so calm and lagom and mostly vicuna-hued. And it has opened my eyes to so many lovely brands – including perfumers Stora Skuggan, auctioneers Bukowskis and … Bite. (more…)

I thought my novelty tee days were behind me, but lately I feel like lightening up a bit. Back in the day, I was the queen of Hysteric Glamour, Tonite and vintage tees, with cute typography and way too many Snoopy and Mickey Mouse motifs. I had a meeting with Phvlo founder Johanna Ho a couple of weeks ago, in which I was transfixed by her brilliant hood-collar hybrid. It’s a chic Sacai-esque waterproof garment with a bib that conceals a zipped-in hood. (more…)
