2. VISVIM TO SANTA FE
Visvim has opened its first women’s store and it’s in… Santa Fe. WMV Visvim is artsy-crafty heaven with all manner of artisanal textiles, antique furniture and Japanese ceramics to keep ardent Visvim aficionados happy. Not sure how many Visvim customers go to Santa Fe but it’s now firmly on the bucket list…
3. FEELGOOD FACTOR: PLY-KNITS
I never get bored of knitwear startups. I’m liking the sound of Carolyn Yim’s Ply-Knits, a ‘library of uncomplicated, elegant knitwear’. Shapes vary from single-ply merino tees to the thickest of 12-ply cashmere, all sustainably crafted from deadstock fibres in Yim’s family-owned manufacturing facilities.
4. READY FOR FENTY BEAUTY?
Fenty Beauty’s arrival this month is expected to have legacy beauty brands crying into their only-three-shades-of-nude makeup palettes. Rihanna’s beauty brand is reported to have 40 shades of foundation and is expressing its diversity credentials with this frankly fabulous teaser. It lands at Harvey Nichols and Sephora on September 8th.
