House of Fraser’s digital half way house




I’ve been trying to get my head around House of Fraser‘s new Houseoffraser.com concept store in Aberdeen’s Union Square. Equipped with iPads, computers and a complimentary coffee bar, this ‘buy and collect’ store seems to be a half way house between conventional ‘bricks and mortar’ shopping and online shopping. Topshop’s Secret Store




Topshop has taken its designer collaborations to the next level by commissioning smaller runs of unique pieces from its favourite directional designers and housing them in their own ‘secret store‘. (more…)



Dover Street Market tachiagari



The concept store, er, concept is thriving in the UK. Recent additions include Manchester’s Hervia Bazaar (which has a really nice website by the way) and 123 in London’s east end which takes a sustainable stance (think Noki’s upcycled creations). (more…)
