Swatch’s six million dollar watches
Crikey, a collection of Swatch watches sold this week at auction for HK $ 51,707,500 (US $ 6,618,560). The Blum Collection, owned by Swiss businessman Peter Blum and his wife Linda was was one of the most complete collections of Swatches and was sold at a Phillips De Pury & Co auction at The Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong. Elton John’s Prism glasses
Oh to have been a fly on the wall in Anna Laub’s meeting with Elton John! The Prism eyewear designer was commissioned to hand make some bespoke glasses for Elton’s Vegas shows. Who else would have their name spelt out in disco crystals?
