Buy it now: Cos curved shoulder coat

Cos-Curved-shoulder coat

I have a version of this Cos coat from two winters ago with thick black and navy stripes and (actually fake*) slit pockets. It’s the one thing I own that gets commented on every time I wear it. (*Ok the pockets aren’t fake, thank you to my lovely commenter for pointing that out.)

The cut is faultless and the quality is great – it frequently gets mistaken for Prada/Marni/Jil Sander. So if you’re a fan of a bracelet-sleeved cocoon coat, then get in quick cos (lol) these aren’t going to stick around long. (more…)

Burberry, Adidas: How do you wear yours?

Louis Vuitton’s Vivienne bag – logo or no logo?

Louis-Vuitton-Vivienne-Bag

So much for super-brands shying away from obvious logos, Louis Vuitton recently launched this Vivienne bag (£2,880) with a can’t-miss-it brass logo closure. I’ve taken a secret shine to it as the rest of the bag is neat, clean and understated. Buy it here.

Topshop X Shit Bloggers Wear

Topshop-Shit-Bloggers-Wear

Is this the first time illustration has been used in an etail context? To sell actual product? Probably not, but I love the idea. Especially when used by Topshop US in association with Shit Bloggers Wear. The high street retailer asked Cecilia Doan to illustrate its new season hero pieces based on her satirical Tumblr blog, Shit Bloggers Wear. Nice one whoever came up with this one…
