1. ALEXANDER MCQUEEN, THE MOVIE

So an Alexander McQueen biopic has been announced which should be very interesting. I can’t imagine it’s an easy film to get made, so many people to keep happy. You want to tell a compelling story but equally you need the notoriously protective family, friends and Kering gatekeepers to comply. But onto more important things… such as who will play Isabella Blow?


2. J.W. ANDERSON AND EXPERIENTIAL RETAIL

Editorialised retail, curated spaces, call it what you want, Jonathan Anderson has it nailed. The former window dresser has pitched up next door to the Ace Hotel with J.W. 4. SEPHORA SUPPORTS NEXT-GEN START-UPS

SEPHORA Accelerate programme launches to nurture young female talent

It’s great to see a huge brand like Sephora embracing womenomics in a big and genuine way. Sephora is supporting the next generation of beauty talent with a programme designed to train and nurture young start-ups. The Sephora Accelerates programme aims to give more than 50 women-led beauty businesses a leg-up by 2020 via boot camps, mentorship, and small loans. Read more on WGSN.
