Lizzy Disney handbags



I really have no business lusting after handbags when I have more bags than I can possibly carry in this lifetime. But Lizzy Disney’s (great name!) envelope bags are worth getting in a tizzy about. I love their slim, angular proportions and rich neutral colour palette – black, camel, red. And each bag is hand made in this lovely leather that will age oh-so-beautifully. (more…)

I spent last Thursday in Dublin hosting a trend event at BT2, the little sister of Brown Thomas. What a lovely store it is! I was there primarily to talk about Kurt Geiger shoes but managed to have a sneaky mooch around the rest of the store. (more…)



Vintage Hemingway



Following last year’s Vintage at Goodwood, Wayne Hemingway’s fashion-and-music Vintage Festival moves to London this summer. On Wednesday, Caryn Franklin will be in conversation with Hemingway at the Museum of London to discuss London and its influences on his work in the creative industries. I caught a speech by Hemingway a while ago at a mobile phone launch (!) and found him to be likeable and engaging. The always-inspiring Caryn Franklin is a brilliant interviewer so if you’re interested in thoughts on design and creativity I reckon this will be well worth attending.
