There’s only one way I can de-stress at this time of year and no, it’s not a faceful of salted caramel panettone. (OK, why lie? That too.)
The one thing that really works is a piping hot bath, a fat magazine book and a generous capful of Aromatherapy Associates bath oil. These have been a beauty editor’s secret potion since the year dot. There are many other bath unguents of course, but in terms of genuinely allowing deep relaxation, these blissful bottles are practically medicinal. (more…)
I just spotted this Deep Sleep Bath Oil from This Works on Into The Gloss. I had no idea this product exists. I love my sleep and I have no trouble drifting off, but I’m a night owl. I really hate going to bed and so I stay up as late as possible. Damn you, internet and FOMO! What I need then, are sleep-encouraging potions to help me wind down. (more…)

I have to say, Glossybox is coming up with the goods month after month. As I wrote in a post for Glamour a while ago, the main pull for me is the practicality of all these miniature products. My March Glossybox was a Harrods special containing goodies from Shu Uemura, SKII, Molton Brown, Clarins, a Valentino fragrance sample and a miniature Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara. I admit I’m not fussy about mascaras but I do love this mini Lancome one with its wavy brush. On a separate note, I’ve also just started using Lancome Bi-facil eye makeup remover. (more…)
