Does London need another vintage store? Hell yes when it’s Blitz London, a new 5-room ‘vintage department store’ in Hanbury Street, E1. The press release promises all sorts of riches, including new stock every day, an in-store cafe, upcycled furniture, blogger-friendly ‘account managers’ and a mix of reasonably priced and rare vintage finds (hello Swatch watches). However many tote bags I have in my life there’s always room for more. Generally, on the rare occasions I’m doing polished and professional, I use my Chanel Birkin-alike Cerf tote which is a good size, structured and has lots of lovely inner pockets. (more…)
