Rich reds and warm neutrals are on my radar this month (even though I’ve spent the last few weeks looking at ss13 colours – white, orange and Yves Klein blue are trending so far). I love the combination of Carven’s cheery red skirt and Kenzo’s vibrant printed scarf with Antipodium’s plastic-sleeved bomber. And also the contrast of Junya Watanabe’s abbreviated biker (only £272!) with McQueen’s chi-chi Heroine bag. Shaune Leane’s thorn ring adds unexpected drama.

I knew I was going to like Charlotte Olympia’s SS13 collection when I got a glimpse of the chi-chi perfume bottle clutches a few weeks ago. Chanel’s ready to wear doesn’t always do it for me but the accessories are a different story altogether. SS13’s surpass themelves – these Lego-esque Boy Brick box clutches are future collectibles, while the triple-strapped shoes have the right mix of fabulosity and femininity. And my favourite piece of jewellery is this huge ‘pearl’ bangle which fastens with a powerful magnet. Wonderful, no?
