Shop the post: Summer at Sunspel
Loving Sunspel’s work at the moment. The knitwear has been on point for several seasons and they’re upping their collaboration game in a delightful way. Here are two great menswear collabs on my radar…
Sunspel x Casely-Hayford is the tailoring love-in we never knew we wanted (below). As neighbours in Chiltern Street, they may have seen some customer overlap, which has resulted in a foursome of unstructured men’s tailoring that work a treat with Sunspel’s Supima cotton tees, polo shirts and cashmere crew necks.
Double-breasted blazers have almost usurped single-breasted in terms of fashionability, so there’s a boxy navy DB blazer* here in cotton jersey with horn buttons. Or the single-breasted blazer* is equally relaxed in a lightweight jersey with two welt pockets.
They can be teamed with either the Sunspel and Casely-Hayford Pleated Trouser* – a very cool jersey cropped design with front pleats, or the Sunspel and Casely-Hayford Elasticated Back Trouser* – gently tapered with a turn up.
In other Sunspel collaboration news, I love this print collab* with London illustrator Rosie McGuinness (top and below). Her linear, colour block style lends itself brilliantly to Sunspel’s shirts and boxers. In the summer capsule there are botanical print camp collar shirts*, swim shorts*, boxer shorts* and a silk scarf* – a suitably ‘less is more’ collection.
Although it’s mainly a menswear collab, I’ve been sent these boxer shorts* in a size small and they’re perfect for summer nightwear. Buy the Sunspel and Rosie McGuinness collection here*.
