Milli Millu has rebranded. I met founder Mireia Llusia-Lindh a few years ago by chance at a networking event by – how else? – admiring her bag and asking where it was from. We got chatting and I was happy to champion her growing brand of handbag workhorses.
The brand has evolved tremendously and last year won Walpole’s Brand of Tomorrow award. And this year Milli Millu has undergone a name change in line with its international expansion. Its new name is DeMellier, derived from Mireia’s Spanish and French heritage. The bags continue to be named after international cities and are really some of the most beautiful and practical bags that you can get at this price point.
My favourite Demellier bags? The Midi Zurich which I have in cobalt blue, the Mini Berlin, with its chunky gold clasp, the everyday Manhattan in berry grain, the lush suede and leather Paris (all the colours are great, but especially the red) and the Phoenix in forest green.

Which bag would you buy now from DeMellie
I need a tote and an everyday bag torn between the mini Venice in a red or the other bag I don’t recall the name but it looks like it has a sideways H
My husband told me to get a bag we’ve dealing with a new prognosis of cancer and let’s just say I’m a bit stressed these days..
He’s treating me.
He’s a striong man and I pray will get thru this..
I have been on this site now over and over at least 20 times just can’t make a decision

I’m so sorry to hear about your husband’s health problems and wish you both well. Regarding the bag, I can recommend the Midi Zurich as a great tote, I have a grained leather one in blue (they don’t it in blue any more) but the red shades also look very tempting. I also like the Paris tote, but the Midi Zurich would be my first choice. There are quite a few bags with the ‘sideways H’. I love the Mini Berlin if you’re looking for a small shoulder bag, but if you want something bigger then look at the Berlin. I hope this helps and your new bag brings some much-needed cheer!
