First look at Craig Green AW17
London’s had quite the cold snap lately so this Craig Green get-up is well timed. These multiple quilted pieces are from his AW17 show, which was unveiled today at London Fashion Week Men’s.
Craig Green won British menswear designer of the year at the Fashion Awards in London last month but his clothes sell on both the men’s and womenswear floors. Their voluminous, super-boxy silhouettes may be an acquired taste but the utilitarian details have mainstream appeal – I love these metal clasps! Later this year Green will be selling a more commercial (read: affordable) line that’s set to land at Bergdorf Goodman and Mr Porter in April.
It’ll be a few degrees warmer over the next few days by the way, so if you’re heading to the shows, rest assured you can dial down on the cover ups…
