Helmut Lang re-editions are here
Fashion people love to bandy about words like ‘timeless’. But here’s the proof with Helmut Lang. The brand has reissued a few pieces from its archive, including elbow cut-out sweaters, a zip denim jacket, the painter jeans and the silver Astro Moto jacket. In case you missed it, Helmut Lang has adapted its business structure, hiring an ‘editor’ instead of a single head designer, and planning to offer up regular reissues from the archive to highlight its heritage.
The reissues look just as good (better, even) than they did in the 90s. From the online pictures, they seem like pretty faithful reproductions and the quality looks great too. Check it out here.
