Celine fragrance debuts in October
It looks like autumn is shaping up to be the season of Celine. Not only has Vogue declared the return of bourgeois style, but Celine has just teased the launch of its first fragrance line by Hedi Slimane.
What do we think the Celine fragrance will smell of?
While the idea of bourgeois style may be a tad off-kilter with the country’s pre-Brexit austerity gloom, you can’t deny it reeks of escapism. If we can’t afford the Celine boots or boxy tweed blazers, perhaps we can settle for a sample bottle of scented elixir.
According to the website, the Celine fragrance line will launch in Celine boutiques in late October with eleven masculine-feminine perfumes for day and night. Gotta say, the names are suitably seductive and very Slimane – Parade; Saint-Germain-des-Prés; Dans Paris; Cologne Française; Bois Dormant; La Peau Nue; Rimbaud; Eau de Californie; Reptile; Black Tie; Nightclubbing. I’m feeling Rimbaud and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, but frankly I’m open to trying them all…
