Riccardo’s new Burberry vision
Ok I’m feeling this version of Burberry. Riccardo Tisci’s 3.0 vision of Burbs is youthful, cool, but classic enough not to alienate core customers like me.
“I wanted to celebrate the beauty, heritage and legacy that I discovered when I first arrived at Burberry,” he says of his Burberry ss19 pre-collection images. “‘B Classic’ is an edit that I’ve curated to honour the icons of the House – pieces like the trench coat, the quilted jacket, the car coat, the kilt – which sits at the heart of the SS19 pre-collection.”
Styling is by Katy England who has always had a British rock sensibility (she’s married To Bobby Gillespie) and photography is by Brett Lloyd.
