First look: Calvin Klein Jeans Est. 1978
This is interesting. There’s a new Calvin Klein Jeans line incoming that will sit between ‘CK Jeans’ and the main Calvin Klein 205W39NYC line. The first drop of ‘Calvin Klein Jeans Est. 1978‘ has just arrived (and some pieces are sold out already), featuring clean, graphic classics including a Brooke Shields print yellow sweatshirt (below), dark denim shirting and some near-perfect white jeans. The prices are great, with tees from around £45.
But the interesting part is yet to come. Later this summer will see a drop of these painterly print denim pieces (below and top) that celebrate a nostalgic vision of iconic Americana that Raf Simons seems keen to push. Although there are separate women’s and men’s collections, the overall styling is fairly unisex. The shirt above is absolutely stunning – I want it on my wall…

Love the first shirt too – its incredible. So Richard Prince who I disliked but saw an exhibition of his “cowboy” works at LACMA last year and became a convert.
