Bella Freud x Cutler & Gross collaboration
No DRG Style Index this weekend as I’m preoccupied with Vogue Festival. But instead I’ll leave you with this fab forthcoming collab between Bella Freud and Cutler & Gross. Freud’s collaborations are always well chosen and this one is so good, featuring a unisex sunglasses style with mirrored lenses (£354). “My inspiration comes from the reggae stars and freedom fighters of the 70’s. Their integrity and their glamour, hidden behind reflective lenses, increases their fascination,” said Freud.
I’ve worn Cutler & Gross since the 90s; they’re handmade in Italy and they offer both statement retro styles as well as very classic androgynous styles. This collab is limited to 25 numbered pairs and will launch in June from Bella Freud and Cutler & Gross boutiques or online.
Continuing the collaboration theme, I love how Freud has coralled her mates, Marc Hare and Cecelia Chancellor to model the sunnies, while her son Jimmy Fox took the picture. Big ticks all round.

What a fantastic collaboration and great write up. I look forward to trying these sunglasses. I’m so devoted to my Tom Ford cat eyes but these might make me stray!
