Perfect pairing: jeans and loafers
If you don’t know La Garconne, you have loads of catching up to do. My go-to fantasy shopping site for boyish classics, I’m currently scrolling from loafers to ankle crop jeans and back again, ad infinitum.
Why jeans and loafers? Quite possibly it’s my yearning-for-summer mood, during which ankle crop jeans, bare ankles and loafers are my default mode. I like the elongated, masculine shape of these Robert Clergeries (above), as well as the deep amber shade of the Martinianos (below).
And then it’s all about the non-stretch, straight-leg or slightly tapered jeans, which for SS16 insist on being gently frayed, à la these Re-Done High Rise crops…
