Trend report: Margaret Howell SS23
The Margaret Howell SS23 look book is in and I can honestly say it’s the best ever.
It’s giving post-punk-meets-90s-Vogue-Italia vibes, with an air of Stella Tennant tomboy in the best possible way. I think a big part is the hair and casting, aided and abetted by the very off-piste styling (by Beat Bollinger).
Margaret Howell has pushed the styling envelope in recent years but not quite this far. On the hanger, these pieces are likely rather straight laced and classic (which I love) but the suggestion of more interesting ways to wear them elevates them to high fashion status.
